IMPORTANT NOTICE

Confirmation Masses are resuming this coming July. Please view the schedule below to note the date of your Confirmation Mass.

In-person Masses have now resumed at the parish at a 15% capacity. We strongly encourage Confirmation families to attend Mass in-person if healthy and able. Please note that Masses are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Registration for Confirmation this year is now closed. For all those still interested, we look forward to hearing from you this September.

CONFIRMATION 2021

The time has finally come where we can now safely celebrate our Confirmation Masses! Below you will find the schedule for our Confirmation Masses. If your child attended the Durham Catholic Virtual Elementary School prior to the lockdown please note the date under “Virtual School”.

Tickets that were given earlier this year are valid for these upcoming Masses. We will remain at 5 tickets per student (1 student, 1 sponsor, three family members).  Please share the Confirmation date with your sponsor. Due to the limited capacity restrictions in the Church, changing dates will not be permitted.

CONFIRMATION ATTIRE

I hope you are still excited to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. To help you prepare for your special day, below you’ll find the recommended attire and Spotify link.

  • Please remember that masks are required for everyone entering the Church.
  • Unlike in previous years, Confirmandi will not be wearing a gown for the Mass. Instead, students are encouraged to wear their Sunday best (i.e. dress pants, dress shirt, dresses/ skirts, dress shoes, etc.), incorporating the colours red and/or white, which are colours associated with the sacrament they are receiving.

Here is the link to the Spotify playlist made just for you for Confirmation! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3RXb3nqHbofRhyrhoco7vi?si=pjWHBDErQWyiIEQ3Wva04A

I pray that you continue to keep the fire burning and the zeal to receive all the beautiful gifts of the Holy Spirit. Please continue to pray daily, attend Mass every Sunday, and find special ways to serve others in your community.

Take care, stay safe, and God bless!
